Karina Bennett (Director) Karina is thrilled to be back at the NYC International Fringe, having directed here before. She has directed, written and acted in plays, film, commercials and TV on both coasts and Chicago. As one of the founding partners of MagicBullet Media, www.magicbulletmedia.com, Karina spends most of her time producing creative content for broadcast and the web. When she’s not interviewing celebrities or cutting sound bytes, she’s eating cheeseburgers and was immediately attracted to this deep soul-searching musical about the quest for burg and cheese. She thanks her unborn child for sticking in it, her supportive friends, the talented Ks, brilliant Caroline, the awesome cast and crew of ICHC and her loving husband for not disowning her for adding more to her plate.
Kristyn Pomranz (Book, Music and Lyrics) Kristyn is a full-time web editor for AOL, a part-time freelance arts and entertainment writer, and an all-around theater enthusiast. She began her career in musical theater, studying at Syracuse University and Circle in the Square on Broadway, then working odd stage jobs Off-Broadway. After returning to school to study journalism (Washington University in St. Louis), she switched professional tracks and became a writer and editor. Credits include all Village Voice papers, Time Out New York, Las Vegas Weekly, Venus, Good Housekeeping, and more. She is currently working on her second musical.
Katherine Steinberg (Book, Music and Lyrics) Katherine is the senior editor of the AOL Health center. She has been writing since graduating from Washington University in St. Louis, where she discovered Crazy Bowls & Wraps. The taste of those wraps still haunt her to this day. Credits include The Week, Redbook, Country Living and Woman’s Day. She has studied sketch at both The UCB Theater and The Pit in NYC. She is currently working on her second musical as well as a screenplay and original pilot.
Caroline O’Connor (Asst. Director/Stage Manager) Caroline is a writer-director-stage-management-type who is thrilled to be taking part in her third Fringe Festival! Since her resume includes the musicals Bat Boy, Fleet Week, and the Buffy Sing-a-Long, she knew she HAD to has Cheezburger too. When she is not in a theater, Caroline is a nanny, massage therapist, and strong supporter of mutant rights.
